materials • i found the heavy steel wire along the side of the road

• the copper wire was gifted to me by my brother-in-law, who salvages it from the generators he repairs for a living

• i think some of it is a paperclip, who knows where i got that thing

• i found the hoop in, like, the garage maybe?


size • the hoop is 8.25″ across

materials • this is an interesting piece of seaglass • possibly it’s a sort of ceramic instead • in any case i found it while mudlarking along the banks of fountain creek in colorado • technically i suppose it’s creek glass • or creek ceramic • but nobody would know what i meant

• i hammered the larger wire flat & then spent a while wrapping the tiny thin wire around & around & around

• that part was pretty fiddly i’ll admit
