water is life • how … how could it not be? • how … how could water not be a basic human right?
$5 from this will go to the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico • trans people being kinda liminal & all • seemed appropriate
materials • this is an interesting piece of seaglass • possibly it’s a sort of ceramic instead • in any case i found it while mudlarking along the banks of fountain creek in colorado • technically i suppose it’s creek glass • or creek ceramic • but nobody would know what i meant
• the copper wire was gifted to me by my brother-in-law, who salvages it from the generators he repairs for a living
• i hammered the larger wire flat & then spent a while wrapping the tiny thin wire around & around & around
• that part was pretty fiddly i’ll admit
size • the loop is about 2″ across • more or less
• the seaglass is a little over an inch wide by a little under an inch high
