The sound of the wavelets running up onto the pebbled beach was SO relaxing. I love the sound of water & I haven’t been able to spend near as much time as I’d like where I can hear it. I’ll be going down to the lake as long as the weather allows.

It was a bit chilly to want to be under trees, so instead I took the boys down to the lake for the afternoon.
Tom … was not really comfortable with that much water.

I heard a distinctive *clunk* — the sound of the door propped against the tinker’s wagon shifting — & thought ‘the hell, it isn’t windy & I braced that thing REALLY well’. It turns out the answer was ‘cows’.
