And of course just as I finally decide to walk away from the computer for the day, having had Quite Enough, the muse leaps up, knocks me over, and now I'm writing that scene in Chapter 2 of Pairs, the one that needs all the work.

A couple hundred words, yeah. And now I think I know how I'm going to rewrite the beginning of the book, too.
