An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.

"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego....

The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, empathy, kindness, benevolence, humility, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee replied simply, "The one you feed."

Nice. That's one I'm keeping.

Alfredo El Bufon misquoted Anais Nin many years ago, and I loved it more than the original. "We do not see the world as it is, we see the world as we are." Close to the same sentiment, but not quite.

I like both of them. Actually my favorite quote is "Pain heals, Chicks dig scars, Glory lasts forever". But that's me. I really do like the idea of the two wolves fighting for your personality.
