Afternoon sleepies...
Feb. 15th, 2004 04:00 pmSpent the night at Gise's, met David, had a lovely time. I am massively envious of their house as you could basically put our house in it and have space left over for another one of our house.
They have sweet cats and their dog is excellent. It's been a while since I had me a good dog-wrestle. :)
David is really a nice guy. I knew that anyway, from talking to Gise, but now I know that for me too and that's a happy thing. Gise says he's usually not so talkative as he was last night and I'm glad he was comfortable enough with us to really let go.
I feel kinda bad that we left before he got up but then again, it _was_ after noon and we _did_ keep him up a bit late and well. As long as he doesn't mind which I doubt he will.
I slept...reasonably, I guess, for being in someone else's house. Then I took mondo-cold medicine this morning (in the conveniently poo-tasting horse pill) and now I'm all woozy. And, yeah, I took it yesterday too, but I think the fact that I drove most of the way down yesterday gave me something I _had_ to focus on and thus it was a lot easier to stay awake.
Took a brief break in there to run up to the grocery store for something. Paused to pet the neighbor's dog on the way. The dog's name is Boy. Her name? _No_ clue. *sigh*
