thing of threes

three #smallbeauties:

wind turbines, tumbling, gossamer, ponderous
a fluffiest cat
a fluffiest dogger

three things I did right:

finally got my show display stuff to a point where setting up is REALLY easy
& then got everything back in the boxes the same way afterwards (!!)
decided to set up outside, despite the wind

three things I learned:

wind isn't always terrifying
a husky-border collie mix is just as bad an idea as I thought
SOME people don't have a sense of humour when it comes to table manners

three things I am grateful for:

the show went well
I'm back in touch with someone cool
I have the bestest-ever cats

The fluffydog is, alas, up in Colorado with his people, but I have passed your pettings on to all the cats!

Yeah he's got a LOT of energy. Plus he's only a year and a half old, so his brain hasn't quite grown in yet. He tries REALLY HARD to be good but the world is VERY EXCITING sometimes.

My Sis has 2 dogs, my doggy niece and doggy nephew long before human nephews :)
Mara is a Malamute/Labrador and Benjy, above, is a husky/rough coated collie cross. He gets more compliments when out for walks and he's a much better behaved dog (Mara has the stubborn Malamute temperament!). He was advertised by somewhat ditzy owners as being a litter of mixed breed bored [sic]collies....his coat is rough coated collie, not border collie we believe :)

Bored border collies are the WORST idea. ;)

Phillip, the border collie/husky mix, tries REAL HARD to be a Good Boy, but sometimes the world is WAY TOO EXCITING.
