daily i need to come up with a name for these thing

three #smallbeauties:

tiny mimosa leaves
a friendly new neighbor
bright orange night-blooming something-flowers

three things I did right:

stopped about a quarter of the way through restacking the bricks
took a break to eat Better Cheddars
decided to get pizza for dinner, cos: easy

three things I learned:

most of the new neighborhood is related to most of the rest of the new neighborhood
but it's okay, they're ready to like us anyway
firebrick is WAY lighter than regular bricks

three things I am grateful for:

pizza, it's seriously the perfect food
my body has more energy than it did a few days ago
I have the Best Pocket Friends (that's y'all, among others)

I did! We aren't as moved into the new place as I'd hoped so we hadn't been there for a while :P but I did make it down there yesterday & got the mail THANK YOU!

I knew about using them for making lockpicks (due to my early career as a wannabe anarchist, in which I mostly read vaguely subversive things &, okay, did learn how to pick locks) but it hadn't occurred to be to carry that over into jewelry I'll make from it, so that is an AWESOME idea, thank you!

Let me know if it's actually useful, and I'll send you more if I can find them (I think my city has switched over to plastic sweeper bristles, but Seattle still has the real thing, and I'm there sometimes). I love finding uses for weeds, street sweep bristles, and the like; it makes me feel like I know a city's secrets. :)

Right now it's more 'which thing will I try first'! Might be a bit, with everything I own in boxes, but I might get a wild hare tomorrow & try something, who knows?

Knowing the secrets of a city is a really awesome thing. The new place will be the most urban place I've ever lived; I look forward to learning my way around Albuquerque.
