Serious Awesome
Sep. 21st, 2009 02:39 pm...if you're my kinda geek.
I loved MacGyver when I was That Age. I carefully memorized every one of his tricks (and was devastated when I learned they usually left out a step or two, in case of kids like me). I wanted to marry him. Love.
I'm also a bit of a film geek. Not that I have any great breadth of knowledge about films but I do like watching what people do with cameras.
Thus, this guy's work caught my eyes. This, a Dr. Who montage, to the MacGyver theme song.
I've never watched Burn Notice so this one didn't do so much for me, but I can still admire his work.
But my favourite, for reasons which ought to be obvious...

Date: 2009-11-08 09:28 pm (UTC)never saw dr. who, but saw a couple of episodes of burn notice (the michael shanks ones) & thought it to be similar to macgyver. he's a guy who helps people, often making what he needs (they leave out stuff too) & does a narration.
i found it interesting that the vidder choose to have don't s. davis in the sg-1 since he was dana elcar stand-in for macgyver (if i recall)
