3) My mom. She sent me this lovely card with a quote from Anais Nin: "And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." I think she's sent me the same card three or four times now, but that's my mom for you, and the sentiment is still awesome.
4) Soap. No, really, not only do people buy a lot of it, but while it's curing it sits near my desk, and I get the occasional whiff of peach, or mint, or tangerine.
5) Colorado. Because it has mountains.
6) Boulder County, Because it has weirdos.
