I've pretty much accepted that I won't be going to any shows at all this summer, after spending most of last year & a LOT of money getting ready to do a LOT of shows.

I've got backup, though. A lot of small crafters like me don't.

[personal profile] ysabetwordsmith is holding a virtual craft show over at her place! Got money burning a hole in your pocket because the con you were about to go to has been cancelled? Head on over! Worrying where you're gonna make the money you were depending on bringing in at Gulf Wars? Go post your wares!

Welcome to [personal profile] dialecticdreamer’s first Magpie Monday of 2020! Let’s get the year to a great start with stories written to suit the reader! The theme this month is integrity. Readers can interpret that word as they wish, and I’ll write a short fic for each person who offers a prompt. Come and join the fun!

Y'all. Y'ALL. If you like Jewish fiction, space travel, the dynamics of living in small spaces, sectarian discord, nonbinary representation, & community done RIGHT, all in the form of microfiction, you gotta check out my friend Mike's tales of Newer York.

Welcome to the November “Magpie Monday” prompt call! Come visit [personal profile] dialecticdreamer’s blog, and offer a story idea, to get at least five hundred words of gentle fiction in return. New arrivals get bonus words, and so do those who boost the signal. This month’s theme is gratitude, but it can take any form the reader suggests, whether positive or negative. See more details on my page, and welcome to the fun!

[personal profile] silvercat17 is in need of money & taking commissions -- in their words, they do "art, graphic design, proofreading, and some web design and tech support". They do nice slick logos & really cool lookin monograms, adorable chibis, & comic book art. More info over this way.

Saladin Ahmed's Engraved on the Eye, is available for a presumably short time, on Smashwords in ebook format. Presumably you must have a free Smashwords account, which I have.

The description from the site:
A medieval physician asked to do the impossible. A gun slinging Muslim wizard in the old West. A disgruntled super villain pining for prison reform. A cybernetic soldier who might or might not be receiving messages from God. These short stories have been nominated for the Nebula and Campbell awards, and reprinted in The Year’s Best Fantasy Anthologies.

To which I add: I love his work SO SO MUCH, I HIGHLY recommend this.
