Phishing scam warning!

If you get an IM from someone on your YIM list, telling you to click on a link to look at pictures or something, _do_not_ click on it. It's a phishing scam, designed to get your YIM ID and password.

And if you did, change your password _right_now_.

Thanks for the warning! I did get one, from you actually. I clicked on the link and got a yahoo login prompt, which seemed weird since it was a geocities web page you had sent me the link to. I checked the code and saw the only form on the page was sending the login to some site i'd never heard of, so figured it was bogus... But, anyway, as the message came from you, just thought i'd let you know so you can run a scan... And if you find something, let me know! If there's some IM worm out there that can bite you even if you're using Linux, i'd appreciate the heads up :) *hugs*

Nopers, it's just a phishing scam. Doesn't touch Linux - just gets your Y! id and password, if you're dumb enough to put them in (which I was), and uses those. So if you didn't type them in, you're fine.
