Good book, though my skin is crawling over the fact that Disney is handling it, and a religious movement has circled around the film, claiming "It's the Passion of Christ for Kids".

No, it's not. Read the book, it's about the empowerment of children. :)
CS Lewis had a great sense of imagination, to boot.

We read the book in Sunday School in High School...and the parallels to the Passion of Christ are everywhere in it. CS Lewis was a christian, and intentionally used Christian allegory in a large portion of his novels...but it is still a damn good book!
