I found this tree in the back yard, can ya tell?

Seriously though, this is the first Christmas tree I’ve had in YEARS & I am REALLY enjoying it.

So is Tom.

In fact Tom is enjoying it enough that he went viral on Twitter.

… don’t tell Loiosh, he’ll be REALLY mad.

He’s been under the tree some, too, although I haven’t caught him really flopped out yet.

I attempted to cause a flopping, for purposes of getting an adorable picture, but Loiosh was having none of that.

Apparently Hades doesn’t celebrate Christmas. Do Pastafarians have anything going this time of year?

Hades has always seemed to me the type to prefer the Whoville/Grinch feast, complete with Roast Beast, over all the other festivities.

Your backyard Christmas tree looks lovely! I would not have guessed it was chosen by proximity.

We found a holly tree (an invasive species) in our backyard, so we cut it down and made it our Christmas tree. We named it "Stabby".

Ooh, I like this decision! Except for the stabbing parts!

& yeah, I got REALLY lucky with that find. I was figuring my tree would likely be more of a bush. I've been calling it my Charlie Brown tree but that's not entirely fair.
