And going...

Much better today, all told. Still coughing, not as much.
Took the Little Girl Kitten who's been hanging around my backyard to the no-kill over in Easton today. Didn't like doing it...but I can't give her a home, and it's cold out, and she's pregnant. One of the ladies over there is going to foster her until her babies are old enough, so she'll have a nice warm home tonight.
Stayed for a while and petted cats. :)
Came home to deal with More Eisental Mailing List Shite. The list has lost...six or seven people, I think, because of a couple people who Really Don't Get it. I've shut down the topic and moderated everybody on the list. Seemed fair. Only stuff going through now is complaining about the Iggles.
I hate conflict, and I have having to be near it, and I hate even more having to deal with it. But such is life, and it's a thing I'm gonna hafta learn if Certain Plans are going to work.
I've started reading all the Scientific Americans which have been stacking up for the last year and a half. Some fascinating stuff...some scary, too. But, well. That's how it goes. It's good for my brain, I think. Makes it work.
Now I just have to do the body-workout thing, too, once I stop coughing so much.

Date: 2005-01-19 05:18 pm (UTC)Well, it's over now.
Glad you're feeling better
Date: 2005-01-18 08:34 pm (UTC)OK, I have to ask... what are Certain Plans? That's too significant a phrase to leave un-clarified.

Date: 2005-01-19 07:29 am (UTC)Certain Plans are long-term, involve the SCA, and I really shouldn't talk about them more than that.
Glad you're feeling better
Date: 2005-01-19 05:39 am (UTC)I actually was starting to giggle real badly because of the bullshit being spread around. Boy, you would have thought that Eisental was a Barony with all that conflict!
I hope you are feeling better. Is Lewis going to Nutley tonight?
Re: Glad you're feeling better
Date: 2005-01-19 07:32 am (UTC)I haven't kicked anyone off yet, but if people test the 'no more' thing I just might. 'Cos, like we need stupid shite like this going around...
Lewis probably isn't going, because he needs to get heraldry done tonight. :P I'm hoping to get enough of it done that he doesn't have to, but I dunno.
