I made a thing.

I’m not entirely sure what to call it. It was going to be a necklace pendant, but it didn’t want to hang right, and once I was done I realized it wasn’t for wearing anyways. That’s a wolf toe bone — it seemed awfully big to me, but I checked around online and they do apparently come that size. It’s about four inches long, for reference.
Copper wire — square, which is a pain to work with, but I like the twisty look and will probably play with that again. The tortoise is made from pipestone; I bought it at Pipestone National Monument, when I visited during my geology field camp back in 1994.
I’d like to thank Lupa Greenwolf for inspiring me to work with critter bits. You rock!
