Weekendy goodness...

Well, I already pretty much told y'all the highlights of Friday night. Also, there were tacos.
Saturday was taking poor
meradudd in to get a tooth pulled, during which I did a spot of Christmas shopping. Thence to some retail therapy (his, not mine) and laundry. Upon collecting
fairmanthequick and
brat_grrl we went to the Pumphouse for dinner and mojitos. Or mojito, anyway, that having been adjudged the appropriate medicine for my aching back.
Yesterday Dwen made a lovely breakfast for the lot of us, whereupon I locked her out of her apartment. Fortunately I have a ladder and Ray as long legs, so it was easily fixed, but I still feel like a dork. A mass shopping trip commenced, topped by a three-hour-or-so ramble through Lowe's kitchen department planning the Kitchen Of Doom.
Dinner was fondue (thanks to Dwen) and chicken, rice and corn (by Tim), during which I discovered that apparently the Outlands haven't discovered Savoury Toasted Cheese yet. Well, they're about to.
After that we introduced Dwen to the concept of roleplaying. My drunken doctor turned into a bit of drunkeness for me, too; I'm gonna have to learn to play him properly whilst sober, but it was a hell of a lot of fun. Been far, far too long.
Vaguely grumpy at myself this morning, realizing a number of RP opportunities last night that I clean missed - but it's been a while, and I'll get back up to speed.
Also, trying to teach Shanti how to walk on a leash. It's been...entertaining. Frighteningly enough, though, I also think it'll work.
Now it's Monday. But, I'll live.
