I'm in New Mexico, between Grant & Gallup, about ten miles off I-40. I would happily show her where it is & assist as possible with getting her settled in.

Fair warning: we're 40 miles from anything resembling a job, unless she works online. The internet connection here isn't great, & chances are very good that she'll have no cell signal, either ... though I haven't checked at the house, it's entirely possible. It gets hot over the summer, although not as bad as Albuquerque or (gods forbid) Phoenix.

Up side: Not a lot of people around, so little chance of getting the plague except for going into town. I know the local Handyman Guy, who's very talented at fixing things with what's to hand, including random stuff he just found in the back yard. Getting Medicaid in New Mexico is pretty easy. & mostly people around here are pretty okay.

Yes, do get me in touch with her, I will happily give her a hand if she decides this is a viable thing!
