I did it! 50,000 words this afternoon. And still going strong; and hour and a bit later I'm up to 51,215. Maybe halfway through the story; it's taken enough hard lefts from the outline that I'm kinda not sure, and I realized half an hour ago that I'd skipped one fairly important scene entirely. No matter; it'll work out somehow.

Not that I'm going to stop, either, or take a break. Well, maybe a _bit_ of a break over Thanksgiving weekend and Darkover...
