I would love to see your place when you get the kiln fired up, the only problem is that we have two standard poodles and a blue tick hound.  I suppose if we corralled your kitties in the house and let our dogs roam your back yard it might be OK. Thank you re: my VLA pix.  I've been shooting for a long time and take pride in what I put up, not that all of my pix on my web site are top notch, but I think all of them have value of some sort. The first batch of VLA photos were from the government shutdown a few years back: when the VLA was shut down, they parked the telescopes pointing straight up.  It was too good an opportunity to pass up, so I made the trip.  The second set were when the shutdown had been worked out, but it was going to take a few days for them to gather their workers back who had scattered to the winds, so we had a chance to make another trip. Found an excellent little bar/restaurant in Socorro, unfortunately it closed the following year.
