Yeah, yeah, okay.
Having been provoked into posting, here I sit.
It's been, um. When did I post last?
There was Christmas. I got good prezzies. I gave prezzies which seem to have gone over well. I ate cookies.
There was New Year's. We stayed up until about 12:03, and then went to bed.
At some point we watched Master and Commander, and found it very good.
I watched Pirates again, because it'd been over a month.
We (Lewis and Jodi and I) went to see Cats down in Philly. Abso-freakin'-lutely lovely. I fell madly in lust with the guy playing Mr. Mistoffeles, not surprisingly.
I worked my last day at work, after some unpleasantness with my mother who continues to refuse (pardon, 'not get around to') doing anything about replacing me. Not My Dog. Which I've been assured of repeatedly.
The writing has slowed but not stopped. I've found that taking the laptop downstairs and typing without an ethernet cable involved helps a lot. I'm working on disciplining myself to write every day. Or at least, every day I'm not _insanely_ busy doing something else, like 12th night.
I wrote about a thousand words the day we went to see Cats, which I feel pretty good about.
(Yes, I'll post more of it soon...)
Staying home every day hasn't sunk in yet. Might not for a while. It's not odd...yet. I suspect it will be.
There's a pretty little girl-cat lingering near my back door. Anyone want a cat? She's very friendly...
12th night this weekend. Then the shire revel the 15th. Then a free weekend (which Lewis is possibly un-freeing as I type). Then Birka. Then Fields of Gold, which I am not competing in because half of my sewing team has gotten Laureled. Then I don't know what.
Wrote a short story. Will post it at some point, but it'll be locked because I'm going to try to get it published.
If I do, y'all have to buy whatever it's in even if you read it already. I'll autograph 'em for ya. (snort, snicker, autograph, me, yeah...)
Weather's gonna be crap tomorrow. Looks like Lewis won't make it to the Nutley practice again.
I get to see my
giselle0002 tomorrow, and stay with
baronadhemar for 12th night, and see bunches of other people this weekend, possibly including
liamstliam. Gonna be fun.
Anyone want to help at a consult table?
Pack? Why would I want to pack ahead of time? :P
That's all I can think of. Brain's a little full. Sorry for scattered-ness.

I won't promise anything, since I'll be kid-watching while Jon fights in the squire's Tourney, but I can probably be convinced to draw/color pretty pictures.

Sure! Wait, I said that to Alisoun first... and
Please keep me in the loop about EK Heraldic Collegium (like, if it's happening at all, and if so, when) -- it actually has an impact on a ton of other things.

I'm also kind of confused. It's only my second-ever 12th Night, and as one of the entourage this year, I'm boggling over the whole multiple-court-thing. Do I have to be at each? When do they start? If I have to be at any, how could I balance it with running the A&S display/contest? (Obviously I didn't think of this when I organized the thing).

*grins* Have fun. And, will do, once we actually hear anything...

As for entourage...that's a good one. Might be worth talking to their Maj's about it, or at least poking Anders...he's doing court. I'd _guess_ that running something for the event comes first, especially for first court which should be 1) short and 2) up against the busy part of running the content. But I don't know a whole lot about court stuff, so don't put a lot of stock in that...
