Gratitude thingy
A bunch of people I know have started doing a 'gratitude journal', listing five (or so) things a day to be grateful for. Sounds like fun, so here goes...
1) I sold teh pr0n! Yayzerz!
2) More generally, a job in the least officious place I've ever worked, with people I like, with mountains to look at just outside the door.
3) Chocolate. Who has so totally saved my ass through this whole ugly situation. He's my little cat and even though he still claws my nose to get under the covers at night, I loves him so so much.
4) The SCA. Met a bunch of the local group Saturday night at Valabar's, met some of the rest Tuesday night at the local fighter practice/monthly demo/thing. Good people. Some things are different (hip hip huzzah is just going to make me giggle for a while) but it's still the SCA.
5) My family. They're also down with the saving-of-ass-ness, and I've come out of this with a much stronger relationship with all of them. Oddly enough, I'm talking to them more now than when I lived in the same state as they do. And that? Is a lovely thing.

At least _I_ was smart enough to get here _after_ StagsCon, unlike some others I could mention...

Glad to have you aboard, dear. What do you like to do? The new CG herald will need a number of go-to people, and our external submissions guy is looking for a successor for sometime next year. We have a split system here, too, but external gets to make the decisions that he's responsible for defending. List is at outlands-heralds@yahoogroups.com.

I'm so totally blanking on 'CG Herald', probably because I'm some behind on sleep.

I can pick up with the internal commentary, sure. Remind myself how it's done. Thanks!
