Olwyn, don't look...

A loyal reader of mine (and you know who you are!) has requested rats pictures.

So here they are!



Atreyu's the darker one (brave boy), and Bastian's hiding under him. Bastian's pretty shy but he's at least got to the point where he knows I'm safe.



Atreyu going "lemme out! lemme out!" Both he and Basitan have escaped the cage a couple of times, but they never go far.



And Remy. Digging.

We were evil to Remy...actually I guess it was more evil to Thomas, since Remy didn't care:



Rat? What rat?



Thomas is truly exceptional at ignoring things he doesn't want to deal with.

Before freakage occurs, Thomas is old, slow, and had basically no prey drive, and I was right there ready to grab anyway.



My little boys!

Your rats are really cute! And I loved the pictures with Remy crawling around on Thomas. In that second picture, I could see a caption of "Hey, kitteh, let me whisper sweet nothings in your ear!" *Snicker*

Ah, there's the old man. Thomas sure has come a long way, and he looks so content there, even with Remy walking all over him. And as for anyone thinking of freaking out about Thomas being a cat with Remy walking on him, this is a cat that:
- doesn't bother watching fish in the tank because they don't matter.
- doesn't bother with the other cats because they don't matter.
- doesn't bother with humans who pull on his fur and try and move him because not ONLY do they NOT matter, IAMNOTLETTINGGOOFTHECOUCHCUSION!!!

This cat has always been very laid back and uncaring about the lesser beasts around him, unless of course you didn't clean the box and then you get attack pee on your bed. :)

You've got it pretty much exactly. Course, you've known him longer than I have...

Previous to today's excitement I had Loiosh (name of Tiny Kitteh now) over their place, and put him on the bed with Thomas; once Loiosh figured out he wasn't gonna get et, he curled up right next to Thomas and fell asleep.

Thomas pretty much rolled his eyes and went back to sleep, too.

They are adorable!! I miss mine. I had a grey and white rat I raised from a baby in college, His name was Harpo (and no I don't like Oprah I love the Marx brothers) Needless to say I had a super cool RA. Just got back from what was once Landsknecht. I think we had 100 people show up but for that site it was a pissly turn out.

Wow...that _is_ pretty sad. A shame, too, it sounded like a _really_ fun event...

You are so kidding. We held a King Renee's tourney. Now imagine a King Renee's touney with no pomp and curcumstanse, no heraldy, only three flags (and rhose were raoyalty) and Bob trying to herlad fo the entire event and you just have a bunch of guysd with sticks with Bob yelling at them. take away Bob adn you have a traditional Eisental event. I guess I should do a rant about this but loooking back it was funny.

Big but smaller than Elliott was. He was a _scary_ big rat.

And all my boys are gorgeous in their way. I've addesd Bastian and Atreyu's brother (the lady who was supposed to take him fell through) -- Falkor is pale grey and lovely.
