About twelve years ago some friends bought me a heating pad, because I'd pretty spectacularly fucked up my spine. Chocolate, my oldmancat at the time, promptly stole it.

It's been on & running for probably 3/4 of the subsequent twelve years, including more than six months on solar power. It doesn't actually use that much, to my surprise. I should see if we're up to turning it back on, likely.
